The day started with Stock and Street Prepared group competition where the Lu family racing team, Robert and Marcus, dominated the heat in a borrowed (stolen?) HS Mini. In SP, Ron Cridland put Quattro to good use and powered his way through the course in the Angry Audi RS4.

Next up, the drivers of Open PAX showed us why they're the top dogs as they took to the rapidly drying track. Roadsters were the weapon of choice in this group with three BS S2000s claiming the top 3 spots. Alex Ho triumphed over his BS competition by mere hundredths to take the win for the event as well as the season title. The Ladies also stuck with the quick and nimble roadsters as visiting driver Dina O'Donnell took the win in an S2000--her first time in the car no less.

Street Touring and Street Mod had the honour of closing out the season with their final competition runs. Don Nimi walked away from the rest of the SM field in the PDM Racing Nissan 240SX. In ST, a couple of rookies, Nigel Koit and Joseph Neaime, drove like pros and put the roadsters in their place with their Subaru WRX STi. Nigel also clinched the Novice Championship with his victory.

It was a fantastic way to end the competition season, and we'd like to thank our volunteers and partners, Kumho Tires Canada, Blitzgear, and PDM Racing, for their support.
The few surviving cones have been put away for winter hibernation, but the fun doesn't stop there. Be sure to join us for the year-end awards banquet where we'll dine on some tasty Chinese cuisine at the Bamboo Grove and honour our series champions.
