Regardless of which camp you fall into, why endlessly analyze the car on paper and via YouTube, or wonder what it is capable of when you can test drive the car and find out for yourself? The Scion FR-S launch -- hosted by VCMC -- is the event you DO NOT want to miss. Come join us for an exciting day of autocross on the full 1000' x 500' pad at the BC Driving Center. Scion Canada is bringing 2 of their 2013 Scion FR-S to the pad for VCMC members to test on course.

(Please note that these times are strictly enforced and anyone not registered/tech-ed by 8:30am will not be allowed to run. Please allow enough time for car prep and registration.)
Driver's meeting will be held at 9am.
BC Driving Centre, Pitt Meadows -- How do I get there?
Rules at BCDC:
- Drive the speed limit to and from the event. Obey all signs.
- Exhaust noise maximum 92 db (Zero tolerance), measured at 50'
- Vehicles exceeding this limit or producing obnoxious, annoying, or otherwise excessive noise (tire, engine, exhaust, etc.) as judged by the organizers, will be asked to stop running for the day, with no refunds being issued.
- NO!-Speeding, burn-outs, loud stereos or excessive noise.
- Respect the local residents. It is a privilege for us to be at Pitt Meadows, and we are guests of the community. Act accordingly.
- You must keep your car under control at all times.
- Do not lock up your brakes.
- No doughnuts or continual tire smoke.
- No exhibition driving.
Event Format
As a club practice event, the timing system will be in operation. But the results will not count towards the AutoX Cup standings. In addition to racing their own vehicles as usual, drivers will be allowed a maximum of 2 test runs in the FR-S.
Entry to this event is limited to 60 VCMC members plus guests of Scion Canada, so make sure you register early! Registration will open on Friday, May 18 at 5pm sharp, and is available at:

All entrants must be current VCMC members in good standings. If you are not a VCMC member yet, please sign up for a 2012 VCMC membership at the following link:

Pre-registration via Karelo is MANDATORY. On-site registration will not be accepted. New members may claim their free event credit by selecting the "New Member Event Credit" option on the Karelo form. The standard event fee is $50. Anyone abusing the event credit option on the form will be penalized $10.
