FORMAT
2012 brings a new format to the VCMC autocross championship series. We have combined the VCMC Series and Novice Championship Tour (aka NCT) of the past into a sleeker more efficient package that is the 2012 VCMC Auto-X Cup.
Novices (i.e. those with less than 3 autocross events experience prior to the 2012 calendar year), the NCT category remains within the VCMC Auto-X Cup. You can observe and learn from the veterans while duking it out with your fellow Novices.
Veterans, all your favorite classes continue in this new series but you all know there is only one class that really matters -- OPAX!
This series will be a best 4 out of 6 for all competitors.
The event is held on the FULL 1000' x 500' pad! No longer are we confined to the rectangular, up, loop around, back.
PRIZES
Your ELT is working hard to line up prizes for the season so please stay tuned and stay hungry for those trophy spots. We are happy to announce that PDM Racing is continuing their ongoing support of the NCT group with prizes to be announced.

(Please note that these times are strictly enforced and anyone not registered/tech-ed by 8:30am will not be allowed to run. Please allow enough time for car prep and registration.)

RULES & REQUIREMENTS
All entrants must be current VCMC members. If you are new to VCMC, your first-year membership includes one free single-day autocross event. Please sign-up for membership before registering for this event.
BC Driving Centre has a strict sound limit of 92dB measured at 50 feet. Vehicles exceeding this limit or producing obnoxious, annoying, or excessive noise (tire, engine, exhaust, etc), as judged by the organizers, will be asked to stop running and no refunds will be issued.

REGISTRATION
Pre-registration via Karelo is MANDATORY for all entrants including new members. To ensure a smooth morning registration/check-in process for all participants, we can no longer accept on-site registrations. New members may claim their free event credit by selecting the "New Member Event Credit" option on the Karelo form. The standard event fee is $50. Anyone abusing the event credit option on the form will be penalized $10. Please sign-up for membership before registering for this event. Registration closes on July 27 at 9pm.

As a matter of tradition, feel free to reply to this thread to indicate your registration intentions. In particular, if you are interested in any of the following volunteer positions, please indicate your request below. Note that signing up for a volunteer position does not necessarily mean you will be excluded from working during the run heats, but we will look for more relaxed duties for you to do as much as we can.
