No - I think this is a charitable service I perform. I spend a ton of money to build a car, then sell it so somebody else can enjoy it at a discount. Then I start over again.

      That's how I roll.

"Location: Port Moody, BC" - better update that Tyson!

              Re: FS: STX BMW 128i

Bump for price reduced by $5k. I have arranged a ride for next year so thought I'd do one sharp price drop, otherwise I'll buy some street wheels/tires and just drive it on nice days next year.

Since September 2017, I have spent approximately $4,000 in upgrades - new custom fabricated race exhaust, new Sparco Pro2000 seats, Brey Krause brackets, upgraded Swift front springs, etc. I have also spent about $1,500 in maintenance and service between oil, brake, transmission, and differential fluids plus a new OEM BMW valve cover to address a faulty PCV valve and some new plugs while we were in there. Mileage is now 113k.

We have made some setup changes and the car has truly showed its speed this year - as recently as today with first and third place overall finishes at Blitz.

I have my eyes on a new class for 2020 and am looking for a new home for the car. This is a fantastic "nice weather and autocross" car - it is well behaved on the street with a great stereo, a quiet exhaust, and fantastic torque but I am moving up to a "trailer car".

I've spent a lot since it was last listed for $20k - I will continue to ask $20k for the car. I would also be willing to take a few things off the car to reduce the price - I can remove the two brand new race seats, this would lower the price by $2k. I can also sell the street wheels separately and just sell the car on the race wheels - if so, I would reduce the price a further $1k.

                      Good point!

Packwood was a great weekend for the team and the car. Rich finished 3rd in STX, the largest class in Packwood at 21 drivers, and finished 1st on day 2 times (with Jordan right on his heals, and me right behind Jordan). The car showed tremendous pace for the weekend and proved again that even with less fresh tires, it is a force to be reckoned with.

I'm still working out what the plan is for 2020 but I am leaning more and more towards selling the car.

If there is somebody who is seriously interested in buying one of the fastest STX cars in the Pacific Northwest with a proven pedigree that also happens to be a great car to drive on the street, let's talk. I have 2 sets of wheels, 2 sets of seats (stock and race seats), custom wired RaceCapture datalogging, lots of custom parts available to be negotiated in or out of the price to make a deal.

                      Cheers,
                      Mark

Price dropped 8/8/19. We just bought a new car so if somebody wants to pick this car up, this is the time to do it...

I'll be out with the car this weekend at Cup 4 on Sat Aug 10.
