This is a reminder that as voted in the May 2009 members' meeting, a flat fee is to be paid immediately when collision or contact with any equipment or facility is made (except cones), regardless of whether any actual damage occurred. This includes hitting timing crates, running over cables, etc.
The amount of $100 was used as a target amount, with the actual value eventually ratified to $150 as stated at each event's Drivers' Meeting since the Members' Meeting vote.
