I'm assuming we don't have an updated car classification list yet?

I have a draft copy of the 2003 rules but I don't think it's ready yet for final release. Oliver??

can someone clarify that the RSX has been re-classified?

i see many RSX's have been reclassified to D/SS but when i was at sunday's event, i was told to keep my C/SS class?

Under the most updated SCCA car class list, RSX-S is class in D/S, same class as Type R. Non S RSX is class in G/S, same class as Integra.
But it does not show the RSX (S and non-S) in SP (SS & SP in Canada). So I assume the S will stay with Type R and class in C/SS and C/SP, while Non-S will class in D/SS and D/SP.

The Acura RSX (all) would probably get thrown into CSP. 1) to take advantage of any update/backdate items, and 2) the CSP 'catch-all' states: "All sedans over 1.7L and under 3.0L not otherwise classified. All sports cars under 2.0L not otherwise classified."

              -c.

According to Cliff. They most likely will.

                        Michael, here's your answer:

                        "Hi, Cliff,

The RSX is not listed in Street Prepared so it does fall into CSP by the catch-all. Some may think the non-S version should go to DSP with the Integra (non-Type R) cars, but not being specifically listed, it can't go there at this time. I am going to ask that this car gets listed in Street Prepared.

                        Hope this helps."
