  • 2007 Canadian National Arrive and Drive signup

    Hi all,

With the CAC event getting ever closer, I'd like to take this opportunity to see if any local competitors are interested in offering their cars for out-of-town arrive-and-drive participants. If so, please provide a quick description and class the car is qualified for (remember we're using CACC classing not SCCA for this event) here. Or PM me.

Same with the out-of-town competitors. If you are interested in co-driving please indicate here or PM me and we'll do our best to link you up with an appropriate car/owner.

Full details of the co-drive agreement can be discussed between connected parties (eg. entry fee, tires, money, beer). For local competitors, this may be a great way to get more competitive - have a teammate push you during the event - and also get a tire warmer for your runs.

    Thanks.

Re: 2007 Canadian National Arrive and Drive signup

Since my car doesn't fall into the CAC classes very well, I am offering any of the following:

-Bring your 13-15 in slicks and we can run in C-Mod
-Bring your SP car and we can use my 13in R-Compounds
-Bring your car any class, we co-drive, you can store it safely it at my place (if you're planing on doing multiple events in a row and don't want to drive every week - National tour, ProSolo, CDN Nats, Evo School are all in a row)

Re: 2007 Canadian National Arrive and Drive signup

I'm more than happy to share my car with someone for CAC.

My car is a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. I will be running in the new T2 (street tire) class for CAC.

The car if fairly well prepared, a full list of mods can be had on request. The bad news is, the car is not the car to have for the class. If a well prepared and well driven WRX (or GTI for that matter ) were to show up, it would be difficult to win the class. If you are looking to have the best chance of winning T2, this car probably isn't for you. If you want to come out and have some fun, and maybe teach me something (or maybe learn something from me, though not likely ) this is the car for you.

If interested post here or PM me.
