Volunteers for Course Setup Mar. 30th.

i MIGHT be able to make it out to help set-up. I'll do my best to make it out there!
Setting up the course gives me a "bye" from working the course on the day of the event, right? I think i remember someone saying that on the 24th. that would be great for me as after last sunday, i was having a hard time walking from being on my feet all day!

The folks helping set up the course were given a "bye" at the first closed club. Good intentions were there, but we ended up in a bad situation where 5-6 SP competitors had come out for course setup and we had trouble finding course workers for the stock guys due to these folks not having to work.

In all honesty, setting up the course gives you a huge advantage on race day. As long it's a VCMC event, even if it's a regional race, people can still volunteer to help setup course and get that extra advantage.

I think that's incentive enough to go out there. Guido, if I can get my volunteer stuff with www.asia.bc.ca done early enough, I'll be out there too. I've got a web based relational database to build for them

Yeah I think it is helpful to setup the course. Plus why wouldn't you help on Sunday when you are not racing. there is nothing else there to do...

I know, i was one of those 6 SP drivers out on the course for the Stock people.
I'm all down for getting an advantage over to competition!

How is the course going to be set-up for this weekend? The same, similar or completely differant?

That's cool, i was just hoping my feet could wouldn't be so sore that i had a hard time walking that night.
I'll try to make it out anyways, i do not know if i'm working on saturday yet so i'll have to wait and see. I'd like to come out and help if i'm able to!
