It was a very good event on concrete that was slightly less grippy than BB but about the same as Topeka. Courses were a bit on the short side but Blake and I were deep into the rev limiter twice on the course and as typical of National type courses, the average speeds were high. The weather was sunny and hot at around 31C. Saturday was close between Blake and myself. We both spun one of our runs due to cold tires on my part. I was 0.2s quicker than Blake on Sunday so I ended up with the win. Steve O'Blenis (sp?) was running a BP RX-7 that got to within a second each day and was amazingly quick. His times show up in EM because a bunch of Prepared cars decided to run EM to have enough cars for a class. Ken did much better on his second day and moved up a couple of spots.
Congratulations to all NWR members who made the trip. Win or loose, road trips are fun. Besides, it's always nice to get out of the box once in a while and run against other regions.... even when they hand me my arse.

The speeds were MUCH higher than Atwater at the San Diego National Tour, and from what the other ESP guys tell me about Topeka, the National Championship speeds are higher there too.
