The Ioco Hillclimb Committee regrets to announce that the 10th Annual Ioco Hillclimb has been postponed until further notice (probably until 2003). A scheduling conflict with META and insurance costs have forced the postponement. This was a difficult decision for BCMA, as this is an enjoyable event to host and a unique event for the region. We looked at moving the event to another weekend to accomodate META, but could not find another date that didn't conflict with the motorcycle trails riders (the other group that uses the same area).
There should be no worries about losing the hill in the future, as the road we use is on private BC Hydro property.
Look for a revised Solo Events schedule in the next couple of days.
