The bumble bee was an extremely Hacked CRX that had a lawnmower(or some other small engine mounted behind the driver)engine that was powering a fan. The fan was blowing air under the car into a bag like a hovercraft.
I assume that the idea behind the blower is to keept the airbag inflated so that air can't travel under the car, although I might be wrong.
I have pictures of it if you are interested.
