Tech volunteers wanted for 20th Anniv. event

A pre-tech for the 20th Anniversary Event will be held Friday, July 5th from 1800 to 2000. All registered competitors are expected to attend the pre-tech unless you have a really good excuse.

We need 4 volunteers to help with the Friday evening pre-tech. Guido will be managing the pre-tech (Thanks Guido ... I owe you again )

We will also hold a tech inspection Saturday morning from 0700 to 0830 for people from out of town and any that have a really good excuse. We will split the session into two 45 minute shifts. I need 2 people for the first shift and 3 for the second.

Working the tech inspection fulfills your work obligation for the weekend.

Are tech workers required to show up on both days or are those seperate positions?

I would be nice if you could help out on Saturday as well because it appears we may not get too many people lining up to volunteer. If we get a lot of inspections completed on Friday evening, maybe Mike and I can handle the remainder on Saturday morning.

If your available maybe we can decide later as things develop?

Hi Rod. I could help out on both days too. We could just split out the workload on Saturday morning. If no cars, some of us go walk the course. If long registration line up, we work harder.

It looks like we got our Tech team. I appreciate everyone who signed up ... thanks. I won't be back in town until late Friday so I'll miss the Friday session. Guido has offered to coordinate things so see him.

I'll be at BBA Saturday at 0700 ... see you then.

BTW I've seen my first and my 20th Pontiac Aztec here in Alberta. Ugggly ... doesn't say much for the taste of the flatlanders.
