  • Registering for Sunday

I don't think the registration works. I tried to register for the event, and it thought I wanted to join the club (I did my renewal online earlier this week). So I skipped the registration. I'm not sure, but I think you get one practice free with a membership, so maybe the registration isn't necessary.

Let me know what I need to do.

Anyway, I'm looking for a rainy day so I can try out my new Dirt Stocker tires.

On another topic, is no one from VCMC besides me going to Atwater National Tour or ProSolo this year? It's a very large (at least twice as wide as Boundary Bay) concrete site. The usual couple dozen from NWR/SCCA are going. Come on down... it's warm.

Too bad, clash with Regional #1.

      Hi Jeff,

One free CPE is given to new members only, so you have to pay for Sunday's event. Click here to sign up CPE #3. At the Fee section, select "Current Member - $25"

Please, do come up. The local Mustangs are only kicking my butt. I want to have my butt actually forced right out through my stomach! Plus, I'd like to meet you ... put a face on the internet persona.

ps. so far my motto has gone six-for-seven; odds are good on testing the Dirt Stockers

          Thanks for the info.

One other question... if I decide not to go, what is the refund policy?

Since it's a 2+ hr drive each way, and a full day of autocross, and I'm slammed trying to get ready for the Atwater NT/ProSolo, work and another urgent side project, I can only justify going if it is raining. My new wheels (17 lb 17x11 Bogart Wheels!) for my dry tires won't be here till after Sunday so I don't have any race tires for the dry.

So given all my constraints, it's not worth coming if it's dry (who'd ever think someone would say that?<s&gt

if that's the case, I recommend you sign up at the event on Sunday instead. There's a $5 admin charge for refund or we credit the full amount towards your next event.

The credit option would work fine for me. Thanks for the info.

There's going to be a larger ESP class at Atwater National Tour than even a local CACC event (14 signed up so far). You should try 4 cams, 8 cylinders and 32 valves (in a single vehicle!) on wide open concrete, and you might not care about having to drop one local event.<g,d&r>

We always encourage our members to try out events all across North America. The last thing we'd ever want to be are big fish in a little pond.

Last year, we had 12+ that went to the US Nationals!
