  • Urgent!! Regional #3 info need.

Are we going to have a Pre-tech session for up-coming CACC Regional #3?
    Anyone know when and where?
BCMA site has been down for a long time and I don’t seem to find any information regarding this event. Anyone have any details and/or link I can visit?

First Run group to grid: 9:15am(run/work groups posted after regi)
    First car out: 9:30am

      wow...no pre-tech?!

looks like we're going to have a really long line up on Sunday morning.

hope we'll be able to start on time and have 4 runs.

I think one run is even better for you after this weekend.

I just joined the club at the KSC. Am I going to be able to compete in the regional #3? or do I need a CACC license? will a day-pass do?

You'll be able to enter the event and run. The only time a club membership and SoloII license comes into play is if you plan on running for points towards a CACC Class title. For now, a Day License (day-pass) will do.

It's $5 for a day license. The yearly CACC Solo2 license fee is $25.

BCMA will process all registration and vehicle safety tech on Sunday morning, gate opens @7am.

Be there early to beat the queue, you want to have ample time for course walking as course design varies from all clubs.

Pay special attention at meaningless "look-at-me" cones which in my very own opinion serve no direction nor distraction purpose. Also, keep in mind that the cones maybe half the size of what you normally see in VCMC or SCCA events.

I have yet to receive request regarding the central database for CACC's Fast Track/barcode system. Competitors may have to use run cards on Sunday.

                      Good luck to all VCMCers,

                        BTW,

VASCO! How many times I have told you? It's not Regional, the political correct term is "CACC CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES"!

I guess I will have to do what I did before in any BCMA involve event. Searching my way in those "hard-to-see", "below visual point" cones.

Just FYI, BCMA uses the same cones as UBCSCC. I.e. They are the same size as the ones used in CACC Championship Event #2.
