Just saw the Indy Team trucks driving past my place downtown this afternoon and remembered that VCMC club member Chris Beere will be competing in the SCCBC race afterwards! Go get 'em!!!

You guys should see the car...drool... Chris's work is really amazing! From the WRC inspired cage, to the Nascar door bars, to the fire suppresion system, the list goes on! If anyone wants a race car built and all the bits fabricated, throw money at this guy and watch him do his magic!

Just don't let me drive it after! The track is actually pretty scary with all those ceement walls and all! Especially at turn 9! I got off line in the afternoon practice session and made a little contact. It's not too bad but It will have to go to the body shop again after this weekend!
I watched the race from the 21st floor of one of those appartment buildings on Quebec Street. Chris was flying around! Great stuff - more fun than the CART race.
