A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our own club member, Tony Morris Jr., for finishing 1st at last week's Sports Car Club of BC Invitational at the Vancouver Molson Indy!!! After qualifying 2nd on the 48 car grid in his Proformance Racing Chevy Monte Carlo, Tony took the lead exiting turn 4 on the first lap and led every lap of the race, setting a fastest lap time of 1:24.6, which would have put him on the front row of the Cascar race held on Saturday.
Tony (aka Nick) says that he's looking forward to coming out soon to autocross with us very fast drivers.
Way to go Tony on a great race and well deserved win!
