What about something similar to an event such as this, maybe with ice instead of snow. I would be willing to pay some serious money to have fun ripping around an ice track. This would teach some good car control and be a blast to run.

I was thinking of something a little closer to autocross and cleaner(appealing to a bigger crowd): autocross format minus the snow, just or watered down concrete. using daily drivers instead of race cars.

In Calgary, we've been running an "autocross" series in the winter as well....Edmonton has just started one this winter with one event run thus far I believe.

Of course in Calgary with the Chinooks it sometimes ends up being a mud or gravel event during the winter! It is currently around +5-+10 deg. and snow is melting....for a week at a stretch and sometimes more... Quite a few of the rally guys are showing up for them as well as the solo2 members.
