  • Club Practice Event #1

With the slush series coming to a close, it is finally time for VCMC's first event of 2004! Look forward to some major improvements in event quality starting with the March 7th, CPE #1.

It is my pleasure to be the first event organizer of the year, and as such I am looking for some volunteers to be Crew Chiefs.

If you are new and are interested in helping out, here's a perfect chance for you! We will teach you everything you need to know, so don't worry about having no experience.

The list of positions are as follows:

    Chief of Course: Steve Kibble
    Chief of Timing/Scoring: Farzaan Kassam
    Chief of Tech: Jacques Dorey
    Chief of Registration: Henry Ho
    Chief of Workers: Richard Basford
    Chief of Clean-Up: Arthur Chan

Feel free to reply here, send a PM, or e-mail me if you are interested.

    Thanks,

    Reggie

I can do some cleanup since I can only arrive 11:00am the earliest. When will the event end?

You have to have your car teched before the drivers meeting at 9am that day if you want to race.

Can I come real early, say 6:30am, get the car teched as early as possible, leave then back before 11am? I can do some end of day clean-up to compensate my work shift time. Is that possible? Thanks.

The first tech shift is 7:00AM, so that's the earliest that you can tech. Registration sometimes doesn't get set up until 7:30-7:45 though.

I think it would be Reggie's call, as he's the event organizer.
