SIR track day

Terence and I have had another great track day at SIR on saturday. There is so much I want to talk/ask about in the forum. hmm... my guess is ferrari too but i haven't heard that many ferraris... just one yesterday on hwy 1 ^_^ blue 355 spyder *drool*

indy lights machines are higher pitched? could it be a lamborghini? how do they sound?

definitely something small displacement (<3.5L) with a lot of cylinders.

After I finished the 1st session of the day. A guy came over and told me, "You beat the **** out of that 911 turbo guy over there! He thought, 'It can't be a miata, can it?'"

The winner is...

A serious Ferrari 355 with big Hoosers. I believe it turned the quickest time of the day if not slower than the super vee (or whatever open wheel car it is) at 1:35ish.

For reference, I turned 1:48.00 with the slower no-filter experiment and the throttle-plate gap issue at part throttle. I turned 1:47.66 last time with stock TB. A supercharged '99 miata with headers (20% more hp than mine), big brakes and also 032R tires turned 1:47.51. I can see the possibilty of beating him once my IRTB is dialed in.

I dunno why that is, Chris. I have been trying to post my videos as well and have had a page suspended.

I sent a feedback to Geocities and wait for response. Looks like my home page is not throttled but removed! I think what happened was that I posted a link to the mpg file on my website. So surfers don't need to go thru' any page (html file) before getting to the mpg. Maybe Yahoo uses a smart technique to check html file visits vs non-html file visits. Tons of people visit an mpg file without going thru' an html file is probably an indication of using Yahoo Geocities as file storage which I'm not.

Anyways, I have uploaded the 2 files onto my telus web page. I don't think they'll throttle or remove them because I kinda of paid for the service as a package with ADSL. So here are the links and enjoy!
