  • Will we see final results for last weekend's CC?

I'm curious what the overall standings are like. Particularily my class.

    Thanks

Unfortunately we didn't bring a notebook to record the time. So, no result. But i can tell you there were a whole bunch of DNFs.

If you tell me which car you have, I can tell you how many cones I picked up for you at Station 1!

        Jeff,

I hope you collected your run card back after the event, at least you would have your own run times. Just post your class and maybe your competitors would reply back.

I was the Timer&Scorer, PA, and penalty call in for group 1 so there wasn't any way to record all the runs separately. We use to record all the times in a log book so that we could post the times in the newsletter. Guess that's old school process before we had laptops.

        Robert

Ok, what was the count on my car in the wet? And how many heart attacks did I cause? A couple for Leslie?

            ok!

I was in the second run group. G/S Impreza WRX (blue) RE92s.

            R scratch C total
            1 1:18:857 2 1:22:857
            2 1:16:731 1 1:18:731
            3 1:17:138 0 1:17:138
            4 1:16:300 2 1:20:300
            5 1:16:861 1 1:18:861
            6 1:19:665 0 DNF
            7 1:17:975 0 1:17:975
            8 1:16:540 0 1:16:540 (BEST)

Must be those new big VCMC cones. They're too shiny and must be abused!

              Sead,

Not sure I can count all the cones on my hands and feet Sead... I do know you had a couple of DNF's at station 1 though (or was that Guido?). Things get kinda confusing when you have 4 runs and double drivers!

                The DNFs were me...
I must say that Guido drove better than me in my car. True, I was faster at the end but he drove more "correctly"

LOL.. nah, I've been warned ahead of time to watch out for red cars flying my way.

Station #2 was the best, I think we picked up a total of like 4 cones in the morning and the evening. =p

                    Hi Jeff,

FYI: I was also in the 2nd group but I only ran my RSX (G Stock) in the first 3 runs when it was still damp - 1:16.248 (clean of course). I didn't run anymore because I only had 2 Kuhmo's in the front (other ones corded) and ran factory tires in the rear and it was undriveable with way too much oversteer. Braking with the slightest turn would cause it wrap. The Natural Gas Focus handled better with those hi-perf tires. Jake asked me how I got the RSX to drive like a RWD, it was just a mistake.

BTW: were you the guy that mentioned that you were thinking of getting the RSX but chose the WRX? Sorry didn't catch your name at that time.
