I'm going to try and drive this day with Diana, we shall see how my shoulder holds up
Courtney, it would be in your best interest not to drive if your shoulder is not 100%. There are quite a few reasons, most importantly your health is most important.

Not when you are dealing with ICBC.

If I am not mistaken, a 325XIT is an all-wheel-drive E46 325 wagon. I am doubtful that the wheels are narrow enough to fit into STS, I suspect it will come with 8" wide wheels which will put it into STX.

That sounds right, the only mods other than a stock rebuild were lowering springs and the engine is a 3.2 (stock 2.8)...mainly improvements from the original design.

I certainly look forward to this and geting to know many of you, I'll have allot of questions.
3.2L? did you stroke the cast iron 2.8L with camero V6 pistons and crank? Fiero's can be a lot of fun.. little tail happy in the rain with all the weight in the rear..

I might come out and watch for a bit.. I might be able to get my car fixed saterday, but I don't think I'll have time... Anyone interested in a co-driver?

Re: NCT #3 - June 15th - Bring Your Dad to Race!!!

Ok...yes I had the engine rebuilt with a 3.2 conversion kit, custom cam, Holly adjustable fuel rail with 5.0lt Mustang 19lb injectors, forged pistons, roller rockers, removed all the vacuum lines, etc...I just finished the suspension with all new poly, tie rods, ball joints, KYB shocks & struts (kicking myself now, should have went Koni), rebuilt steering rack, Suspension Technics lowering springs...and all with the 4 speed Getrag.

I have been readiing like crazy with tire preasure as I am running stock 60 series Fusion tires, one mod would be power steering one day

I have no idea how I will do, reading the course is what I more concerned with and being friends with MojoYaris, I certainly welcome those who may want to ride shotgun if he does not show...I will appriciate any advice

One thing I do need to buy is a helmet, any economical suggestions?, I will have to use a loaner this Sunday maybe.

Re: NCT #3 - June 15th - Bring Your Dad to Race!!!

                      Hey guys,

I would start a new thread in a diff subforum but somehow since I'm new here it won't allow me, only replies.

I want to have the correct tire pressure for Sunday. My car (Toyota Levin) says for my tires (Bridgestone Grid II 195/60R14 86H) I need 2.0 kg/cm² in the front and 1.9 in the back (I could have this backwards as it's all in Japanese!)

                      2.0 kg/cm² = 196.14 kPa = 28.44 psi

What should I bump that up to for Sunday? And do I have the front/back thing right (more in front, less in back)?

                      Thanks,

                      Charles

Bring the pressure up about 35 psi or more. After a run, check and see how much your driving on the side wall, then adjust accordingly.
If you can, bring a tire pump and a tire gauge. People will be willing to help you so don't be afraid to ask at the event for some tire tips.

OK. I'm allowed to come out and play. Heck it is Fathers day after all.
I think my car will hold up for the day. It's a tired tired lil car.
I did get some more stickers, so that should keep it together.

I'll sign up tonight or tomorrow on Karelo.
