April 2013 Velocity Driving School Results & Feedback

Another 30 smoother, faster drivers were unleashed on the autocross world today with the conclusion of today's sold out Velocity session. Rain held off for most of the day, allowing VCMC's ace team of instructors to impart the concepts of smoothness, precision, and control.

As always, the school is only possible with the efforts of our valuable team of volunteer helpers and instructors. Special thanks to Uncle Joe for his always entertaining and inspiring presentation, and Velocity Director Yarko Petriw for taking time away from writing his MBA thesis to lead the school.

I would like to say thanks to all the people who helped make this event happen! Thank you to all the instructors who took time to coach all of us into being (hopefully) not so lousy drivers! Especially those who helped me find the extra time I was looking for.

I had a absolutely great time driving today and look forward to tomorrow!

We had an AWESOME time and a big Thanks to Mathew for some great coaching. We look forward to coming out to some future events and practicing our new skills. Thanks to all the coaches and peeps who came out to let us newbies concentrate on learning how to not be such lousy drivers. ;-)

A big thank you to all the volunteers and instructors for putting on yesterday's session. I had lots of fun, and, if the falling lap times are any indication, improved my driving. Look forward to seeing everyone at the regular season events.

Super big THANKS to all the instructors and volunteers for dedicating their time and efforts to making us less lousy drivers yesterday!!

I think I may have taken the record for most number of cones hit in a single run... and yet managed to finish the day with a clean run! Can't wait to get out more often this season!

I can attest to that, as I know I never ran a 32 second time, anyway, who cares I enjoyed the fun runs and enjoyed helping out in the G circle. Another successful Velocity.

I beat him with a 33.051 on my last run of the day. GoPro battery ran out before then, so I don't have video of my best run. :-(
